It’s official! The winners of Garden & Gun Magazine’s Made in the South Awards have been announced today. I had the inside scoop from the two days we spent shooting the selected product in Charleston. And of course, it was a scoop that was my favorite of the bunch. The Bay Laurel ice cream from Southern Craft Creamery (who snagged the opening spread, below) was floral, creamy-yet-light and darn addictive. The judges are true experts like James Beard award winner Frank Stitt and interior designer Barrie Benson. Holiday parties and gifting here we come!
